I’m sitting in a parking lot, waiting for a school event with my son. While I’ve been sitting here, horns have been honking at nearly every light cycle because someone in the line was doing the same thing as this guy, looking at his phone.

Please, people! Pay attention to the light!

Practically everyone does this in south Florida. It is extremely frustrating and i lose my shit sometimes when i see it. I’ve missed countless green arrow left turns because these assholes can’t put their phone down. I can’t stand it.

I want to invent an app that uses your car’s camera to see when a light turns green. It would then trigger a non-lethal shock to the holder of the phone. Simultaneously, it would have the screen flash, “pay attention asshole!”.

An in- app upgrade marketed to parents or spouses would then post the incident to a person’s FB page for instant public shaming.
